What do you do when a bride and groom come from two different religions, backgrounds, traditions?? Celebrate both and celebrate BIG!! and thats just what Ashley and Kamaljot did. With 800 of there family and friends, the festivities started the night before with the Sangeet . Filled with close family and friends from all over the country and even world.Food, music, and tradition lit up the evening as a warm up for the following day!
The next day started off bright and early, getting ready for the first part- A traditional Sikh ceremony. Ashely adorned a beautiful red siri dripping with detail.
The same went for Kamaljot and his traditional Sikh attire. KJ made his grand entrance on a gorgeous white horse followed by his family and friends dancing their way into the ceramonyThe ceremony took place in a Sikh Temple in which Kamaljot grew up in and has been attending since a baby. Friends and family all watched as these two joined together in the union of marriage.
After the ceremony we went back to the Seneca Niagara Casino to take some formal pictures before they had to start getting ready for the second ceremony.
Next was the american ceremony. Over looking breathtaking Niagara Falls Ashley and her bridal party ate some lunch and got ready while jamming out to probably the best pandora station I have ever heard!! She wore a gorgeous Demetrios gown full of elegant lace and crystals. While Kamaljot was in the next room with his grooms men getting all dapper in their Tuxs.
It was on to the ceremony. Ashey and Kamaljot rented out Old Falls street and turned it in to a venue. They exchanged vows, laughs, and tears, said their “I do”s and then it was time to start the celebration!!!
Let the Festivities begin!! The reception was held at the Seneca Niagara Casino. Gabrielle Pagano from After 5 Events transformed the room into something out of a dream.
We are so excited for Ashley and Kamaljot. CHEERS!! to many many more years of love and happiness!!!
