There are so many things I love about Greg & Claire but one thing that especially stood out to me throughout their wedding planning process is the way they work as a team. It was evident in our every interaction: the way they value each other’s input… the way they put each other’s needs first… and the way they work together towards a common goal. I love that even down to the smallest details, Greg & Claire crafted a day that was a beautiful representation of both their love for each other and their appreciation for those closest to them. <3

From their incredible St Anthonys ceremony in a place that holds so much history and beauty, to their Salvatores reception (that ballroom!)… love filled every square inch and moment and I couldn’t have been more honored to document it all! Greg & Claire! I have loved getting to share in your joy and as I left that night from your reception, I had such a full heart and deep appreciation to do what I do. Thank you for that and for trusting me with these memories!

Enjoy a few of my favorites from Greg & Claire’s wedding day!

Have you ever had something you were so excited about you just couldn’t wait!? This was me this morning. Yesterday I spent the day with two of the most loving people ever. From the time she was a little girl Maren has been planning her wedding and knew every detail she wanted to include. Both were competative athletes their whole life and grew up playing in front of big crowds. Yesterday, there was a different crowd cheering them on. In front of all their family and friends they exchanged their written vows to each other and it was just beautiful.

Their reception took place at Wintergarden By Monroe and was one of most beautiful reception rooms I have ever seen. From the candles to the greenery that accented the tables, every last detail was gorgeous.

To the newlyweds… I hope you love someone my favorite moments of your day!!! There were so many that I loved and it was hard to narrow it down!!! Thank you so much for letting me be apart of your day!

I am always left in awe at my couple’s love stories—although, I am not sure why they still surprise me at this point.  Generally speaking, they all begin after one or both of them have taken a big leap of faith that sets into motion a series of perfectly orchestrated events bringing two soul mates together.  What always gets me is that if even ONE piece of the puzzle didn’t fall into place just perfectly, then the love story may have never began at all. Take a second, think about it, its crazy!!

For Candace and Trevor it was Candace taking a leap from Buffalo State to Onondaga Community College for her first job out of grad school. THIS is where their love story begins and Trevor enters. Actually she interviewed Trevor for a Residence Hall Director position. Trevor was waiting at that time to get into law enforcement. If Candace wouldn’t have gotten a Job 160 miles away and Trevor wouldn’t have showed up for an interview, they may have never met.

Their day was just beautiful! From the love the poured from all their family and friends to Otto the Orangeman showing up to get the party started! Their wedding was nothing short of fun! I mean its not every day a famous college mascot shows up and has everyone on their feet dancing! Thank you so much Candace and Trevor…I wish you both so many more years of love, laughter, and happiness.

GO ORANGE! 🙂

As wedding season starts to wind down, engagement season picks up. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Western New York always seems to surprise me and take my breath away when it comes to Fall. Last night I spent the evening in Rochester with this beautiful bride and her groom. We started at the historical George Eastman Museum. History and culture filled the air as we roamed the gardens that once was home to the worlds largest film archives. From there it just got better (if thats even possible). I CANNOT wait for their wedding day!!
