Have you ever had something you were so excited about you just couldn’t wait!? This was me this morning. Yesterday I spent the day with two of the most loving people ever. From the time she was a little girl Maren has been planning her wedding and knew every detail she wanted to include. Both were competative athletes their whole life and grew up playing in front of big crowds. Yesterday, there was a different crowd cheering them on. In front of all their family and friends they exchanged their written vows to each other and it was just beautiful.

Their reception took place at Wintergarden By Monroe and was one of most beautiful reception rooms I have ever seen. From the candles to the greenery that accented the tables, every last detail was gorgeous.

To the newlyweds… I hope you love someone my favorite moments of your day!!! There were so many that I loved and it was hard to narrow it down!!! Thank you so much for letting me be apart of your day!

I am always left in awe at my couple’s love stories—although, I am not sure why they still surprise me at this point.  Generally speaking, they all begin after one or both of them have taken a big leap of faith that sets into motion a series of perfectly orchestrated events bringing two soul mates together.  What always gets me is that if even ONE piece of the puzzle didn’t fall into place just perfectly, then the love story may have never began at all. Take a second, think about it, its crazy!!

For Candace and Trevor it was Candace taking a leap from Buffalo State to Onondaga Community College for her first job out of grad school. THIS is where their love story begins and Trevor enters. Actually she interviewed Trevor for a Residence Hall Director position. Trevor was waiting at that time to get into law enforcement. If Candace wouldn’t have gotten a Job 160 miles away and Trevor wouldn’t have showed up for an interview, they may have never met.

Their day was just beautiful! From the love the poured from all their family and friends to Otto the Orangeman showing up to get the party started! Their wedding was nothing short of fun! I mean its not every day a famous college mascot shows up and has everyone on their feet dancing! Thank you so much Candace and Trevor…I wish you both so many more years of love, laughter, and happiness.

As wedding season starts to wind down, engagement season picks up. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Western New York always seems to surprise me and take my breath away when it comes to Fall. Last night I spent the evening in Rochester with this beautiful bride and her groom. We started at the historical George Eastman Museum. History and culture filled the air as we roamed the gardens that once was home to the worlds largest film archives. From there it just got better (if thats even possible). I CANNOT wait for their wedding day!!

I dont even know where to start with this post, but I should probably start with how I met these two. I met Bryan and Chris two weeks ago, on a Friday, at a wedding. They were both groomsmen in their best friends wedding party (See Previous Post). That following Monday I received an email from Chris asking to be their photographer, of course I said YES! Little did I know the beauty that was going to come along with this day.

Rhode Island…the smallest land area, the eighth least populpus, and the second most densely populated of the 50 U.S. states. Nicknamed the “Ocean State” an by far the most GORGEOUS place I have ever been to. Sail boats filled the water, vast coastal lines stretched from every direction. When you think of a New England state Rhode Island fills every single description possible.

The wedding took place at the Castle Hill Inn in Newport. Commissioned in 1874 by marine biologist and naturalist Alexander Agassiz of Harvard, Castle Hill is a coastal haven situated on 40 magnificent acres overlooking breathtaking Narragansett Bay.

Adorned in gorgeous gold, navy and rose gold Theia sequenced gowns, their wedding party joined Bryan and Chris as they exchanged their “we do’s”

One of my favorite moments of the day was watching Bryan and Chris walk into their reception for the first time. Their sweet planners Stasia, and Molly, are just amazing and they had waited all day to see their reactions. They didn’t disappoint!!! I was speechless when I saw the room! It was perfect! The florals were stunning, and the twinkling candles and chandeliers left you feeling like you were in a dream. Everything about their wedding was stunning!

With that said, as awesome as the decor was, the best part of the day was seeing Chris and Bryan together… happy, in love, and MARRIED!!!  Their funny, high energy, and love to have a good time! And probably the best dancers I have ever seen. You can see the happiness in these images!

I could go on forever about this day and this experience, But I will let the photos speak form themselves. Chris & Bryan, may you always remember and treasure these moments…day one of your marriage journey.
